Lee’s Summit North High School is partnering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to host the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk on April 28 at the school, 901 NE Douglas St.
For online registration and additional information, please visit this website. Although donations are accepted, the walk is free. On-site registration will begin at 9 a.m., and the walk will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Multiple vendors will have tables at the Campus Walk, including Lee’s Summit CARES and Cosplay for Hope.
The walk is designed to increase awareness for suicide prevention and mental health concerns. LSNHS officials added that the school plans to make the Campus Walk an annual event.
